Take a stand topic

The military service shouldn't Mandatory.

First and foremost,

Every men have the freedom to choose what they want. There are people who do not fit its system and

there are enough volunteers to keep the country safe and trained for the worst. Most men spent 2 years in the military camp.

Those young men end up with a gap in their education and preparation for employment.

Second, it encourages the gap between the rich and the poor or men and women.

The rich dodge the military service and ordinary people feel frustration about it. Some parents choose Birth Tourism for having birth in that country. Low income families might think they are not happy because their son is not born with a "Silver spoon".

Another issue is gender confrontation. According to Military Service Law, women can serve in the military only when applying.

Men compliant over gender equality and some of them ask extra points for military service when they apply their job.

Some people might worry about the budget for it, but if the government prepares the financial issue gradually, it will be solved soon.

Last, the number of military does not affect the outcome of the war. We are living in the high-tech era and the country which has high-tech weapons will have an edge over others.

We can easily read news about suicide and violence in the military. Many young men think it is just chore not a patriotic duty.

It is time to back thier life and freedom.

Q: Did your parents treat their sons and daughters differently?

If you have children, do/will you treat your sons differently from your daughters? How so?

A: Yes, my parents treated me and my younger brother differently.

It was my main complaint. My mom gave me a curfew.

When I hung out with my friend, she texted me and checked the time.

My younger brother did not get any text or call about it.

I know that there are a lot of news about a hate crime.

So, I might be more concerned about my daughter’s safety, and warn that you must watch out misogynists at night.

Q : Aside from GSIT, what causes you stress? (e.g.money, family, lovelife, health, future, etc.)

A : To me, the number one cause of stress is the thinking about the future.
Nobody knows one's future. Looking back 2 years ago, I did not expect that I will study translation and interpreter. As I get older, I need to take responsibility for each decision and action.
Learning becomes more and more difficult. After graduation, another my concern is finding jobs.
To deal with many challenges, I will do some exercise and meditation.

It was hard to say a long story in front of a camera.

I felt like I am frozen.

In the video, the body kept swinging back and sometimes I did not focus the lenses of a camera.

For being a good interpreter, I need to learn how to be confident on camera(position, eye level).

Subject of article : 'That one day is all you have': how Hong Kong's domestic workers seized Sunday

I visited Hong Kong to travel.

I couldn't see the dark side of Hong Kong at that time.

I feel sad that they have only one day off a week and the government must guarantee them to have a health working environment.

In Korea, we also have foreign workers. Sometimes, I read news about the abuse of them in their workplace. I can reflect this article on our working conditions.
